We love opening our space to people who want to bring community together. To keep gatherings smooth, welcoming, and supported, we ask hosts to review the following details:
• Booking hours are available between 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Gatherings may run for up to 3 hours
• All events must conclude by 10:00 PM
Extended duration times may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on event size, setup needs, ticket structure, and scheduling availability. Please call or text to discuss: 226-781-4211
• A cozy gathering space
• Tables and seating ( up to 14 )
• L-shaped couch for additional seating
• Coffee station
• Hot and cold water dispenser (great for tea service)
• Small kitchenette space (light prep only – no cooking permitted)
• Bathroom access
• Separate laundry sink for cleaning paint brushes or art materials
• Ample well-lit free parking
The owner is on-site during events as the space also operates a gift shop. She will remain available if needed while respecting your gathering and allowing you to lead your event independently.

• Snacks or refreshments (if desired)
• Disposable cups, plates, or serving items
• Any microphone or presentation equipment needed
• Ticketing and guest communication

To maintain a comfortable and safe environment, doors will be locked after guests have arrived. An emergency exit remains accessible at all times.

Hosts are responsible for promoting and selling their own tickets through Facebook, Eventbrite, or their preferred platform.
To reserve your date:
• $55+HST non-refundable preparation fee is required upfront
This covers cleaning and preparing the space before your gathering.
• 25% of total ticket sales is paid as the space rental fee. Due the day of your event, before you set up.
Example:
If tickets are $40 and 10 tickets are sold ($400 total), the space rental fee would be $100+HST, plus the $55+HST preparation fee.
If tickets do not sell, there are no additional rental fees beyond the preparation deposit. We ask for a 48hr heads up to cancel.
• No alcohol is permitted on the premises
• Our studio is located in a basement-level unit and currently does not have wheelchair access
• The space is shared with our gift shop, and access to the washroom is through the shop area
Make Nest exists to support connection, creativity, and community. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and supported environment so hosts can focus on sharing what they love and bringing people together.
