Make Nest is more than just a shop & studio, it’s a place to drop your shoulders, explore, and build meaningful connections. Adulting can be hard, and it can easily feel isolating as responsibilities grow; whether you’re feeling a little weighed down, parenting solo, or simply juggling it all and want a place to share, we’re here for you.
The simplest way to dip in and check us out? Stop by for a little browse. Explore our locally made treasures, pick up a small delight, or simply soak in the cozy, welcoming space. You’ll be greeted with a complimentary cup of tea and the warm energy of our creative community. Welcome on our drop-in days Tuesdays & Thursdays 12-4pm.
Art Journal or Create With us
Want to take your visit a little further? On Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12–4pm, we welcome drop-in art journaling and mixed-media play. For $30, you’re invited to explore our abundant collection of supplies and tools, all ready for you to use in the moment.
This is a self-directed experience, designed for ease and comfort. Our staff are always nearby if you’d like gentle guidance, creative tips, or simply a friendly presence alongside you. We believe connection and creating are forms of self-care, and we’re here to make your time feel relaxed, supported, and enjoyable.
The studio is fully stocked with shared materials, so you can arrive as you are and create freely- no supplies to manage or planning ahead needed. You’re welcome to bring your own journal and add up to three pages of inspiration during your visit. Sip on unlimited tea or water, enjoy one complimentary espresso, and settle in as you unwind, reflect, and let your imagination flow. It’s a pressure-free way to reconnect with yourself and perhaps make a new connection.

Join a Circle or Retreat
Ever go to a retreat with high expectations of finding your people, only to be faced with a bunch of already established besties & friend groups? Our Circles are small, intimate, and designed to help everyone connect and feel welcome, especially if you come solo. In fact, we can only seat 11 comfortably for crafting, which keeps things personal and relaxed.
Connect with others based on shared interests or where you are in life, truly at your own pace. Want to connect more with someone in the circle? Send them a Nest Note during the session, they’ll read it the next time they visit. It’s a little nudge to let someone know they were heard, seen, and wished a wonderful week ahead.
Circles are held on occasional Wednesdays and Fridays, offering connection without pressure. Retreats take it further. It's a weekend experience packed with bonding, creativity, and mindful play.
